Sliding Back on Pick-Offs

When diving back to first base, a baserunner should throw his right hand toward the back of the base to make the first baseman reach as far as possible to apply the tag.
Skim your hand close to the ground to make your body low and flat for a tougher tag.
Baserunners should tuck their chins and look to the left to avoid getting hit in the face and to look for opportunities to advance on overthrows.
