Coach Bob Shurtz: As we get more comfortable standing and dribbling – go ahead, Jordan – what we'll work on now is using the same technique to start moving forward. As Jordan starts to walk forward, you'll notice he's still not going to stand up. He's going to keep the ball close to the ground, still with his lead hand out to protect it against defenders. He can also try walking backwards. What we might be able to do now is make sure Jordan has been working on both hands, and he can do it with his left hand. As we come forward now, the lead hand has changed, he's still protecting the ball but still in a good position. Another drill we might be able to learn is trying to use two points and start, and as we get comfortable walking we can start to jog. You can jog one way with the right hand, and all the way back with your left.
Jordan, if you could come all the way back to that line. Right hand, go to the sideline, come back. As we get more comfortable now, Jordan's going to try jogging, but making sure to stay low and use that protecting hand. Go to the sideline, Jordan, right hand and come back left. That's with his right hand, and we can tell he's picking up the pace now. Now we're going to make him do it with his left hand, to make sure he can use both hands still. Left hand, good job. What Jordan does a very good job of – you can hold that – Jordan does a very good job of keeping the ball low. This is what really enables you to move more quickly, and more controlled, with the ball in your hands. Thank you.
