Eric Wysocki: This is the Dot drill we use for agility here at Bayside. The purpose of the drill is to become an agile football player on the field. In the beginning we start off slow and as we progress we get faster and faster. The key to each exercise is to hit each dot with your feet. Let's go, Kadeem.
He starts off with a jumping jack motion – that's what we call it – then moves to one foot, with his right foot first, hitting each dot, then moving to his left foot, then both feet. We finish up with a jumping jack spin around. Now we're going to do this drill at full speed. Remember, you have to stay accurate with your feet on each dot. Good work, Kadeem. One good thing about this drill is that we can perform it anywhere, whether on the mat we have here, on the locker room floor, anywhere. All you need is five key points to make sure your feet hit and you're good.
