Lou Marinelli: Next we have our long snapper. (It’s) very important that the long snapper has consistent and strong snaps back to the punter. First we have to talk about the grip of the ball, how we are going to take the ball from down on the ground. You want to have a hand on the bottom, and a hand on top. We'll put it down on the ground right now and show what this looks like so that we're down. Now, as fast as he can, go slowly, and throw the ball through his legs in a spiral situation so that his hands will go like this towards the thighs. Very easy and go slowly. Let's try. Ready, go.

Notice that Kyle has one hand on the bottom and one hand on top. The ball will be down on the ground and as he forcefully throws that through you'll see that his hands are pronated outward, which creates the spiral for the football and makes it go true and hard. We've gone through the fundamentals of long snapping. Let's see what it looks like now. Excellent.
