Ralph Napolitano: Keeping with our sport-specific conditioning drills, we call this next drill, spinning drills. In spinning, it's always very important for the wrestler to go behind the other wrestler to earn his two points. So this is what I mean by that, each wrestler is going to spin, keeping spinning, changing directions. This is the spin drill.

The bottom wrestler is going to maintain a strong referee's position from the bottom. A really good base, so he's getting a workout as well, and the man on top is going, attacking both sides, and every time he gets behind him, he finishes underneath the arms, which is very important in wrestling to finish underneath the arm. If you finish above the arms, you are in bad position. You are giving the opponent a chance to score, a chance to get out.

So you always want to finish underneath the arms every time you attack from side to side, always finishing from behind. Once a wrestler gets behind, then he will get awarded his two points for either the reversal or the takedown.
