Ralph Napolitano: It's very important in wrestling to have conditioning drills and what I mean by conditioning drills, I want them to be sport specific, I just want them to be running, everything has to be sport specific, so this next drill that we're going to do is what we call our over and under leapfrog conditioning drill. It incorporates getting into low stance, shooting and constant movement.

I'll show you what I mean right here with our over and under leapfrog drill. In this drill, the one wrestler does a penetration step right through the person’s legs, leapfrog, keeping constant motion. We usually do this for periods at a time. We'll go a match, one, one, one, one minute for each period, they'll do three periods of one minute each. Each wrestler keeps going, lowering their level, so this is a sport-specific conditioning drill that we like to do.

Now the other person will go, switch it around, there's no resting between, no walking out of their circles, they stay in their circle doing a sport-specific conditioning drill. These are called over under leapfrog drills.
