Ralph Napolitano: This breakdown we're going to show you right now is called the spiral ride breakdown. Now the spiral ride breakdown is exactly what the name implies. What I want to do is, I'm going to spiral Humberto's hips clockwise, using all my weight on top of him, getting his base broken down and, hopefully, finishing up with a one-on-one and I'll show you what I mean right now.

I'm in a good position, here, my top position is nice, right here, my hand is on the belly button, it goes right here to the thigh, and I'm going to push that out and at the same time I'm pushing his thigh, opening him up, and I'm going to come in here and I'm going to pry his arm this way and I get off my knees and I run him in a circle until he goes to his hips and then, as you see, I finish up with a one-on-one with all of my weight on top of Humberto.

From here, I can do many, many different pinning combinations. I broke him down, I started him here at his base and I spiraled him out, putting all of my weight on top of him, finishing up with a one-on-one.
