Coaching Girls’ Softball: PlaySportsTV’s New Training Plan Provides Great Softball Drills, Skills and Tips
An entire season’s worth of girls’ softball training for beginners to third year players
Princeton, NJ (April 6, 2009) – Spring fever is going around the horn at youth softball diamonds. The most informed coaches are happy to spread it.
“As a coach, your attitude is very contagious,” softball coach Jodie Ricciardi says.
Exceptional coaching makes the fun that much better, and PlaySportsTV.com, the leading on-line youth sports coaching and instructional resource in the United States, is now giving youth softball coaches the necessary tools. Its newly redesigned website announced today the launch of the professionally developed training plan Coaching Girls’ Softball for youth softball programs, from rookies to third year players.
Coaching Girls’ Softball, featuring Ricciardi, a longtime college softball coach, is an easy-to-use, web-based training plan containing over 75 instructional video segments, with accompanying training notes. An entire season of girls’ softball training and tips are delivered on-line in a week-by-week format that presents the essential softball skills that young players need to learn correctly. The softball drills presented in the training plan focus on all of the fundamentals girls’ softball players need to develop: throwing, catching, fielding, hitting, base running and pitching.
In addition to their use by individual coaches and parents, Coaching Girls’ Softball training plans also are being adopted by teams and leagues to provide a consistent set of softball drills and coaching tips for all coaches and players.
