Nunzio Campanile: We are with Greg Toal, head football coach Don Bosco Prep, also linebacker coach, and he's going to explain our goal line tackling drill that we do. We normally do it with full pads, but in the summer we're just going to do it in shorts.

Greg Toal: All right here, all we're going to do here is put a linebacker with his heels on the goal line, we're going to have a winner and a loser. We're going to have a running back with the ball here, if the running back crosses the plane of the goal line, it’s a touchdown, he loses. If he stops the running back from scoring, he wins. So we're going to have a winner and a loser, like anything in football, there are going to be consequences, you've got to be the guy that is going to win for us. You're going to be the great leverage tackler in a key point in the game and this is something that we stress and we're looking to get great leverage and stop him from scoring. I think you practice the way you play, it's important that you practices these techniques and put kids in competitive situations. We reward our kids; for the guy that stops him, if he wins the battle, he goes to the side, gets a drink of water. He gets to go to the side and he'll get 10 up-downs; so they'll get consequences; either you're going to be successful and win, or you're going to lose, just like it's going to be in the game. Run your feet, good job. It's all about leverage, run your feet through. Let's go. Good stance, great job. Right down the middle of him, that's it; club him up, club him up.
